Mission Field will be home to the Miracle League of the Tar River Region. The ball field is specially designed for children with special abilities who aren’t able to play with traditional leagues on traditional fields. It will be an easy-access field with shorter baselines and soft surfaces throughout. Children who participate in the Miracle League get to hit the ball, “run” the bases, and experience the thrill of competition.
